Cap and pay for the Funeral Costs of All Covid- 19 victims compensate families.
Recognise the prohibitive financial and social costs for families by paying for the funeral regardless of age, health, gender or race and compensating them for the untimely loss, pain and suffering due to covid-19.
This would be a genuine and heartfelt step forward in recognising the economic and personal impact on the victim and families. It would recognise and greatly narrow the huge disparity between funeral costs including disbursements, across every authority and funeral home in the UK.
The economic loss through death of the main breadwinner can also be catastrophic for young families where the partner becomes the widow with less entitlements than a single parent.
