Pay rise for nurses and care workers in the UK
The government needs to reward all carers, social care workers and nurses in the UK with a pay rise, this includes NHS nurses and care home assistants.
Care workers are some of the lowest paid people in the UK, it’s now time they had a pay review and rise. The current covid 19 virus has demonstrated that these people are long over due the pay they deserve’
Investment in this area from the government will see many long term benefits and not leave us unprepared for anything in the future.
