Permanent memorial on 4th plinth Trafalgar Sq to NHS/carers facing Covid19
We want a lasting memorial to be placed on the fourth plinth of Trafalgar Square thanking all workers in the NHS and Social Care for their courage and love in the Covid 19 virus crisis of 2020; also remembering those health and care workers who lost their lives in the course of their work.
We have memorials to those who lost their lives fighting in various wars, often under compulsion. Health and care workers chose every day of this crisis to put themselves at risk caring for others. We want to thank them. Some of these lost their lives in the course of their work and we want to mark their dedication and sacrifice.

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
Decisions about what is displayed on Trafalgar Square is a matter for the Mayor of London and London Assembly, not the Government or House of Commons.
