Petition Action

Prohibit self-appointed bans of what people can and can't wear

Petition Details

Several articles and videos have appeared where self-appointed gatekeepers are forbidding those of different races to appreciate and use certain aspects from different cultures. This includes hooped-earrings, braided hair, dreadlocks, sombreros and more. This is regression to a dividing society.

Additional Information

Racist sombreros, (refuted by the British Mexican Society)

Hooped earrings

It is important to note that cultural appropriation does sometimes have an important role in genuinely protecting all cultures.
