Raised awareness for victims of domestic abuse during the Covid-19 outbreak
Victims of domestic violence and abuse are at acute risk during the lockdown period. This petition aims to raise awareness and ignite further action and discussion to support these vulnerable individuals, both in the public domain and through political avenues
While Covid-19 poses dangers to all members of society, victims of domestic violence and abuse are at greater risk due to their home situation being the source of such abuse and violence, the lockdown has made it increasingly difficult for people to seek support.
