Do not pass the Pavement Parking Bill
To reject the Bill as irrelevant, counterproductive and even dangerous.
With the intention of helping a minority of pedestrians, this Bill could create a massive problem for millions of households. Many UK families have more than one working person and more than one car. Yet many houses have either one parking space or none at all. People could be forced either to park on the main roads or to keep only one car and potentially lose their jobs.
