Create Queen’s Nightingale Medal for Covid 19 carers and medics who die at work.
A posthumous Award for all social workers and all medical staff dying from Covid 19, after they continued to go to work during this pandemic to care for those thousands of people who were ill and those dying from the virus. They stepped up unselfishly, regardless of the threat to their own lives.
This level of acknowledgement and respect would positively impact on the whole of our population, who will be forever indebted to our front line caters and medical staff.
