Provide welfare package for international students stranded in UK during COVID19
There are over 450,000 international students studying in the UK, of which many are stranded in the UK due to the cancellation of international flights to their countries due to the COVID19.
The global economic effect of COVID19 has affected their welfare since the lock-down was not planned for.
Considering the huge financial contribution of international students to the revenue generation of most institutions in the UK and the economy as a whole. They should be able to get some form of support from the government in a time like this when everyone needs supported one way or the others.
Most of them can not go back to their countries and do not have anyone to support them in the UK.
Several welfare packages has been announced but nothing has been mentioned for international students
