Change Sunday trading. Allow time to socialise, exercise & help the environment
I would like the Government to debate Sunday shop opening, with a view to giving families and friends a time where they can socialise. This would need to also include deliveries from online retailers. There are many reasons why this is a good idea, mental health, well-being, environmental and social
I believe that the Covid 19 virus has opened our eyes to a different way forward for our society. It's clear that we don’t need to shop 7 days a week but do need to spend quality time with people we love. Individuals only have a certain amount of money in their banks and they would spend it in 6 days rather than 7. This is a time to understand the value of our planet and the people who live on it. This is not a religious petition, although if it moves forward it may gain church support.
