Extend the business grant to all VAT paying companies
Extend the business grant to all VAT paying companies. This would help companies who pay their rates direct to their landlord and also companies who work without a premises.
So many viable, VAT paying business have fallen short of this much needed support many of whom have employees and overheads which are continuing to mount while the furloughing system is still yet to play its part. Landlords are still continuing to charge rents for empty premises as they are not receiving any relief as many have exceeded the rate-able value due to being in receipt of tenants rates.
These viable companies have been contributing to VAT by generating sales and supporting the economy
