Investigate the alarming number of BAME health workers dying because of COVID-19
The first 10 doctors in the UK to have died of COVID-19 are BAME.
BAME staff make up 44% of the NHS workforce, and only 14% of the population of the UK and Wales but this does not adequately or completely explain the disproportionate numbers. Further, 1/3 of those in intensive care are BAME.
We must ensure all workers feel safe raising concerns, and have the same levels of protection.
