Captain Tom Moore for Knighthood.
I want the government to consider Captain Tom Moore for a knighthood.
Captain Tom Moore has selflessly defended the United Kingdom during wartime. And now, in the countries biggest need, he has raised millions for the NHS to help combat the biggest stress on the organisation in its history. Although I would say he’s incredibly humble. I believe and I hope other share the sentiment, that he deserves recognition for his awesome effort in raising funds for the UK health system.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since you started your petition Her Majesty The Queen has approved a knighthood for Captain Tom Moore, in recognition of his outstanding achievement in raising nearly £33 million for NHS charities.
