Petition Action

Cancel HS2 and put the £106bn into the NHS instead

Petition Details

We would like the government to stop wasting tax payers money on the HS2 rail project and put the estimated £106 billion back into the NHS. Seeing NHS staff working so hard during the Covid19 outbreak whilst being under funded, under staffed and under paid really puts things into perspective.

Additional Information

At these unprecedented times it has become abundantly clear who the real heroes are in this country. The NHS has been under funded and its staff under paid for far too long now. The many people of Britain who don't have private healthcare rely on the NHS and appreciate all the hard work carried out by its staff would rather see their £106bn tax money going back into the medical and healthcare services.
