Give Captain Thomas Moore a Knighthood in the Queens Birthday Honours
Petition Her Majesty to make Captain Thomas Moore, the 99 year old veteran who raised £12million for the NHS at this critical time, to be given a Knighthood to recognise his service to the country.
Many are given honours and they are for wide ranging efforts. But for a 99 year old veteran, to continue to want to serve his country and community is so inspiring and humbling that her deserves to be recognised. I feel that a military man deserves our highest honour and so I put forward that he be made a knight of the realm, not only for this incredible effort to raise money for the NHS, but for his previous service for our nation.
