Recognise Captain Tom Moore with an honour for services to charity
At the age of 99 years, Captain Tom Moore has raised over £12 Million (and counting) for NHS charities during the Covid-19 pandemic. He should be formally recognised for this amazing contribution to our nation’s effort to combat the virus.
Having already risked his life in the service of our country during WW2, Captain Moore’s continued selflessness, cheerfulness and grit in the face of adversity is an inspiration to us all; he is a prime example of what it means to be British.
He is a beacon of positivity and determination during the most difficult time our country has faced for generations, and is absolutely deserving of formal recognition for his contribution.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We know lots of people want to petition for Colonel Moore to receive an honour, but the Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.
