Petition Details

Captain Tom Moore is the original OFFICER & GENTLEMAN.
He is both an inspiration and a ray of hope for us all in these uncertain times.
HM Queen Elizabeth II - whom he adores, - and PM Boris Johnson, should waive the rules and give him a Knighthood for his 100th birthday.

Additional Information

According to The Gazette (Official Public Record);
"There are various reasons why someone may be recognised in the honours system, including:
- making a difference to their community or field of work
- enhancing Britain's reputation
- long-term voluntary service
- innovation and entrepreneurship
- changing things, with an emphasis on achievement
- improving life for people less able to help themselves
- displaying moral courage"

Captain Tom Moore has raised over £12 million for the NHS.
