Scrap card transaction fees for small businesses.
Force banks to suspend card transactions fees for small businesses during the covid-19 pandemic.
I work in a small convenience store and since the covid-19 pandemic we have seen a large rise in the number of customers wanting to pay with contactless cards instead of using cash. Although this is a good thing for people to be doing we unfortunately have had to keep our minimum spend requirement for cards in place because of the banks transaction fees. Because of this ourselves and our customers are at more risk of passing the virus.

Transaction fees are a matter for payment service companies and businesses, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a petition calling for a fixed or maximum limit on fees, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
