Help growth in cities in the UK. Helping small businesses save lives.
Encourage city centre growth. Lowering business rates by 75% for small businesses. Free parking for up to 2 hours. Do not help out of town shopping centres if they are going out of business. Allowing these sites to be re-imagined without detracting from the city centres.
Government and Parliament seem to be the only bodies to make City Councils achieve these types of goals. To make larger companies pay higher business rates and help recoup the current tax that has been avoided, or, evaded.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand you are concerned about city centres, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, whether you would only like measures to support small businesses to apply to those in cities, or all small businesses.
Parking policies are the responsibility of local councils, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Help independent businesses creating regeneration in struggling High Streets: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/300250
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
