I would like to see an official charity day each year in aid of the NHS.
Just like Comic Relief, sport relief and Children in Need,I would like to see if it’s possible for England to have an NHS day, where all money collected goes direct to the NHS
I’m not sure if this is something that the government would need to authorise , to be honest I don’t know where to start ,
I think that the country are very , very willing to protect our NHS and would be very happy to donate to keeping it as precious as it should be .. millions of pounds are raised on days like this. In schools , on TV , local fundraising , sponsored events etc .... I think our NHS deserve this.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is responsible for funding public services using revenues from general taxation. The Government is not responsible for organising fundraising events. This would be a matter for charitable organsiations, such as NHS Charities Together.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Designate a day for the recognition of our NHS and all Emergency Services: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/308614
We have also published a number of petitions calling on the Government to increase or protect funding for the NHS, which you might like to sign:
