Help the UK beauty, nail & hair industries financially survive COVID-19
The UK nail beauty and hair industries are falling between the cracks with the chancellors support packages. We are asking for more financial support & assistance or for government to force insurers to pay on business interruption claims across the board to help us & our businesses survive #WeCount
Our industries contribute 1.3%.of the total GDP (data from 2019 contributions as detailed in https://britishbeautycouncil.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/British-Beauty-Council-Annual-Report-2019-.pdf) yet we are being left with absolutely nothing, directors unable to furlough as the alternative is their businesses fail, insurers declining all business interruption claims, many of us being subletters or having a family to care for. Please, we need financial help so we can continue to contribute!
