Give Captain Tom an MBE
Give 99 year old Captain Tom, who has raised £15 million for the NHS, an award in the Honours list. This could be an MBE or any other award that is deemed appropriate for his outstanding public service.
Captain Tom is a true hero and deserves recognition for his accomplishment. It is especially poignant due to his age and previous public service in the forces. This hero is so more deserving of an award than any of the so called celebrities that Regularly make this list For “entertaining”. Let’s turn this opportunity to reward someone into something much more meaningful to the general public.
