Give Captain Tom Moore a knighthood for services to charity
We, the people, request that Parliament recognise Captain Tom Moore's exceptional achievement in raising over £15,385,187.13 for the NHS Charities Together, he set out to raise a mere £1000 he has raised in excess of £15 million in just over a week
Recognise, with an honour, the vast amount that Captain Tom has raised in such a short period of time
In no way do we, the people, mean to demean any other of those wonderful other fundraisers, however, Captain Tom as are all of the others who raise money for charity, deserves recognition for his fundraising achievements
Captain Tom is an example to one and all, an inspiration to young and old and a beacon of positivity in these dark days

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We know lots of people want to petition for Colonel Moore to receive an honour, but the Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.
