Create a memorial to NHS staff who have died in the course of treating Covid-19
Provide funding for, and public recognition of, a permanent tribute to all NHS, carers and key workers who have given (and continue to do so) their lives on the front line against Covid-19
A permanent memorial is owed to the amazing efforts to save lives in what has widely been recognised as the biggest challenge to our society for generations. The people who have gone above and beyond, doing more than simply their duty, deserve a tribute for giving their lives so that others may live. They can not be allowed to be remembered as mere statistics
