Ban caged hens and halal meat.
Stop the horrible use/abuse of animals, when there is no necessary reason. There is no need for keeping hens in cages and religious values/beliefs do NOT and should NOT, justify blatant animal abuse
I want the government to do this because they have a duty of care to all in sociality that does not just include humans but also other animals too. The government does not allow for humans to hurt other humans just for the sake of it or because of religious reasons therefore since these animals are also sentient beings the government should not aloud these blatant acts of cruel on helpless animals.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

Cages or close confinement systems where there is clear scientific evidence that they are detrimental to animal health and welfare are already banned. You could therefore start a petition calling for all livestock cages or close confinement systems to be banned, if that's something you'd like to happen.
