Petition Action

Create an extra Bank Holiday. November (Remembrance Monday)

Petition Details

To approve an extra bank holiday in the UK to remember our NHS staff, Carewokers, Key workers and those who pulled together in these difficult times of Covid-19. Make our remembrance time not just about our fallen war heroes but our living ones too. Remember those who give without question.

Additional Information

For years now they (whoever they are) have spoken about increasing our bank holiday entitlement with an extra day or two, let’s just give a day to those who deserve it most, in recognition for all the hard work they do and have done for many years, and will continue to do to make this country great. I salute you all.
