Introduce a new NHS tax on personal incomes and business profits
Everyone now clearly understands the importance of the NHS, but people do not like generic taxes where there is a clear lack of visibility between the tax and where it is spent. I believe people and businesses will support a specifically identified NHS tax shown on payslips etc
More funding is needed for the NHS and this would be a way of people clearly understanding that some of their tax is being taken to specifically fund this fantastic organisation.
