statue made of Captain Tom Moore, to symbolise his hero status.
To recognise the work and hero status of this great man, who has raised money for the NHS through the Covid crisis of 2020.
Because he has done more to raise moral and money than the government ministers who are paid to do the job.

This isn't something that the UK Government or Parliament are responsible for. The erection of a statue would a matter for the local authority wherever the statue was to be located.
