Government help for self employed not yet catered for during Covid-19 crisis.
Government to offer help packages & grants for self employed who have no premises, are not LTD company, are not VAT registered and/or haven’t been full time self employed for 3yrs or longer with urgency. We don’t have back up funds to rely on. We risk losing everything we’ve worked so hard to build.
Thousands of self employed workers are currently without any government support as they don’t meet the current criteria. We do not have money put aside or saved, we can’t afford to repay loans, and benefits will just not cover basic outgoings.
We stand to lose our businesses, our good credit ratings, and our homes.
Some of us are having to find finances to payed furloughed staff.
We need to be included in the packages set out by the government and this help needs to be fast tracked.
