Ban the sale of sky lanterns
Sky lanterns are a fire hazard and cause much damage to the environment, including killing owls and other animals. They are simply litter and the remains are left for others to clean up.
We ask that Sky lanterns be banned for sale to remove this menace from our skies.
A number of councils have already banned sky lanterns being released on council land but we would ask that this ban be more wide spread and made law.
