Additional funding for the National Health Service and Social Care Services.
By raising additional funding through NI contributions & General Taxation. All additional funding to be protected by law and “Ring Fenced” for the purpose of ensuring adequate financial resources for the National Health and Social Care Services.
The NHS has always been an emotive subject and rumours or thoughts of privatising the health service brings out passionate debate. Successive Governments of all parties are equally to blame for under investment and in times of crisis such as with Covid-19 , these Service are now severely financially overwhelmed.
It is now time for Parliament to debate increasing NI & General Taxation to provide additional ring fenced funding to fully support the NHS and Welfare Services, now and in the future.
