Reopen all golf courses immediately.
Since April 17th and in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak England Golf has annnounced that all golf courses should close.
This has brought financial hardship and possible insolvency to golf clubs and has denied golfers their recreation.
There is no public health justification for this ban.
It is absurd that ramblers with dogs can currently use a golf course for recration but golfers cannot have "a good walk spoiled". What is the difference from a public health point of view?
Golf courses should reopen immediately if necessary with restriction on size of groups or age, use of flagsticks, or medical vulnerability of players to COVID base on non-biased population sample studies.
