Raise taxes to cover the costs of the coronavirus crisis.
Given the cost to public services, the health service, the Job Retention (Furlough) Scheme scheme and other initiatives the Chancellor should now prepare an emergency budget to raise taxes on the better off while protecting families who may be struggling.
It's time to raise money through taxation.
In the face of a public effort that costs a lot, it's time for the British public to fall in love with taxation and public spending.
