Petition Action

Cancel all Uni exams and pass all student/give them predicted scores.

Petition Details

Cancel all University exams whether they be online or assignments and pass or give predicted results. Student who are unhappy with this arrangement can sit these exams at an alternative time.

Additional Information

Due to the unprecedented circumstances where students can not access libraries as they are shut or go to lecturers. Studying at home is difficult for many students due to multiple reasons such as socio economic factors etc. To help ease and relieve stress I think this is the right course of action. Studying at the moment is extremely difficult and isn't conducive to learning.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Decisions about university teaching, assessments and exams are a matter for individual universities, not the UK Government or Parliament.

If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.

We understand that the current situation is stressful for many people, including students. Student Minds, a mental health charity for students, is collating guidance and developing resources to support students experiencing stress as a result of the current situation, which you may find useful:
