Consider awarding the NHS the George Cross using Malta GC as a precedent.
The George Cross, a civilian honour is awarded to those who have particularly served their country and deserve the highest recognition.
I would like Parliament to debate this issue, and using the excellent precedent of the Island of Malta, where the population were besieged and suffered serious privations, each one of them working together in a united front for a common cause.
If awarded, it would mean that ALL roles within the NHS would be recognised and the magnificent teamwork would be recognised

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We cannot accept petitions that call for specific awards or honours, such as the George Cross, to be given to individuals or organisations, because we can only accept petitions about matters for which the Government or Parliament are responsible for.
There is an independent process for considering nominations for awards and honours, including the George Cross, and advising the Queen on granting these, so it is not something the Government or Parliament can do.
