Recognise the millions of veterinary staff on the frontline during Covid-19.
Whilst there is an overwhelmingly positive admiration & support for the NHS/keyworkers who continue to uphold the frontline, none of the statements & media broadcasts are publicly acknowledging the millions of veterinary workers putting their lives at risk for our most treasured non-humans.
These unsung heroes should be equally applauded, praised & thanked. For many people during this isolation - their pets are the only companionship they will have. Without the selfless dedication of our much needed veterinary professionals, these ‘special friends’ would not get the care they also need during this unprecedented time.
