Petition Action

Extend visas for those serving as frontline workers.

Petition Details

International students who are working as key workers in food/ basic essential stores/ pharmacies/ charities supporting the vulnerable and mental health issues, during this pandemic to help support the UK economy and the UK citizens, should get the privilege of getting their visas extended.

Additional Information

These students who came to the UK merely for studying, are now supporting the community in various needs. This shows their dedication and commitment towards serving the country. The government should extend their visas, thereby allowing them to remain longer in the UK, and regain their lost studying time and the experience that they could have gained whilst working in their relevant fields.
