Petition Action

Nurses Registration fee & Union fee to be refunded & held during covid-19 crisis

Petition Details

Nurses pay £120 to be active on the register every year to work as a nurse & revalidate every 3 years to support the work they do. Union fees cost almost £200 annually if support is required by the professional whilst working.

Additional Information

Nursing is already overstretched, overworked & underpaid. During the covid-19 crisis this strain is significantly bigger, with nurses working in unprecedented situations & unfamiliar clinical settings, often working over their hours during this crisis. Refunding the fees that have to be paid annually as a nurse will be a bonus during our hard work in these hard times.
