Recognise the NHS and Carers for their services, by having an NHS & Carers Day.
Once we have gone through this tough time with COVID-19, one day in the year we should recognise the NHS & Carers, by clapping them at 8pm. These are the individuals that have been risking their lives and not blinking twice by continuing on with their working days trying to save other peoples lives.
Before the beginning of this year, we as a country never thought COVID-19 would impact us the way it has. Since it has hit us, the NHS & Carers have shown us how important they are to this country and the public. We should be proud to have the NHS and the people that provide care in the care homes across the country. We shouldn’t underestimate the work they put in during this time, historically and the future.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want an NHS and carers' day, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like the Government to take as part of this. You could start a new petition that included a clear action for the Government or Parliament. For example, you could start a new petition asking for the Government to create a fund for a day that supports charities who work with NHS staff and carers.
We have published this petition calling for a day to acknowledge those in the NHS and Emergency Services and asking for the government to make a fund in support:
