Close UK borders to international travellers with immediate effect

Petition Details

Ban travel from outside the UK to airports, sea ports and the channel tunnel unless by critical staff or goods required to respond to the threat of COVID-19.

Additional Information

To prevent the spread of the virus. UK citizens are complying with restrictions and the progress being made is threatened by the ability of people still being able to buy tickets to travel to the UK. As of today, 22/04/2020 it was still possible to buy tickets to travel to London Heathrow from New York as one example.
