Government should be forced to release the full findings of Exercise Cygnus.
Given the crisis we are facing due to the current pandemic, the Government should now release the full findings of exercise Cygnus without delay.
Exercise Cygnus is reported to expose evidence showing that the UK was ill-prepared for the arrival of a pandemic. Given any Government’s primary purpose is to protect its citizens, clarity must be given to the people as to the state of readiness of the relevant UK structures to tackle this current pandemic, which has now taken thousands of lives.
