To get Covid / Coronavirus Tests available at all doctor surgeries
I would like the government to make Covid testing available at all doctor surgeries.
At present to get tested if you have symptoms you have to drive a long distance to visit a testing centre or alternatively not get tested at all. Most tests are only being carried out in hospitals at present. To get a better idea of who maybe infected, most people would be able to access the tests if they were available from their local doctors. Where do you go if not feeling well, most of us visit the doctor as first point of call either by public transport or driving.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Providing tests at GP surgeries would be a matter for the NHS and individual GPs.
