A medal for NHS & Front Line Workers who have lost their lives to COVID19
On hearing about so many NHS workers losing their lives during this battle, it struck me that there should be a campaign to commemorate those who have given their lives caring for others. They should be posthumously awarded a new medal...an Elizabeth II, Florence Nightingale or Mary Seacole Cross?
...I can't think of anything that has affected everyone in our community and indeed the world, like COVID19 during my lifetime. I missed WW2 by nine years but I remember it being the main topic of conversation for years when I was growing up...quite simply my reason for starting this is that it 'is' a battle, therefore, award a medal like the VC for those who have died caring for others, lest we forget their sacrifice...
