Protect pay for NHS Carers for the next 5 years.
Lest we forget. We want assurances that NHS workers such as nurses, health care assistants and midwives will be protected from future austerity and receive pay rises at least in line with inflation or above for the next five years.
The spotlight is currently on the NHS workers. We must not forget that they are heroes every day, Covid-19 or not. They are always there fighting to keep us safe and well. We fear that once the current pandemic is over NHS Carers efforts will be forgotten and they will be penalised with pay freezes and below inflation pay rises particularly if we face austerity again. We do not want to forget what NHS workers have done and want to express our thanks with some promises for the future.
