Reform the education system to end standardised testing for 16-year-olds

Petition Details

GCSEs and other standardised tests are expensive, can cause unnecessary stress and anxiety for students, and can mean students end up simply being taught how to pass these tests.

Additional Information

In many countries 16-year-olds are not required to take standardised tests. The Government should reform the education system and way schools are ranked with a view to bringing the standardised testing of 16-year-olds to an end.
