Hold an NHS appreciation day once a year, on a Thursday
The government should hold a yearly observation day for the NHS in honour of all the work they do, 365 days a year
The government need to support the NHS as it represents the backbone of our society and keeping us all safe and healthy. If the pandemic has shown us one thing, its that encouragement and appreciation from the government and the public has been a driving force in keeping NHS staff strong and positive throughout the hard times. This is a national institution and we should all show our pride and appreciation of it, teach our children to be proud of it and show NHS staff that we support them.
