Reduce VAT Payments for businesses within Hospitality Sector due to Coronavirus
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak the hospitality sector has been hugely impacted, reduce VAT to 10% for 12 months to help kick start the economy and support businesses who have large debt through no fault of their own.
Germany and Italy have already taken the decision to help their hospitality sectors, This sector was the first to close and will be the last to open, they will loose their main summer season which supports them through the winter months and likely to loose between 50-75% of their annual turnover through no fault of their own. A number were not eligible for a grant due to the business rate cap £51,000 and are facing large debts even before being able to reopen. Trade will be slow to return
