Erect a memorial to care staff who gave their lives caring for COVID-19 patients
The government should provide funding in order for a permanent memorial to be raised in honour of the doctors, nurses, and care staff who have given their lives caring for the sufferers of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Coronavirus crisis has been described as a war, but It is not the armed forces on the frontline, but the nurses, doctors, and other care staff, many of whom have lost their lives as a result.
This nation has repeatedly shown its gratitude with acts of applause but when this crisis passes we must show our gratitude in a more permanent form. Therefore a memorial should be erected in honour of those who have given their lives in support of the health of the nation.
