Petition Action

Make firms based in tax havens unable to access COVID-19 financial aid packages

Petition Details

I would like the Government to follow the examples made by the Danish and Polish Governments, and refuse Covid-19 financial aid (bailout packages) to companies registered in offshore tax havens.

Additional Information

I would like the Government to do it, because why should a company or firm that seeks to avoid paying its fiscal responsibility in tax to the country, be entitled to the Covid-19 financial aid bailout packages that are paid for by the taxpayer?

If you don't pay in to the system when times are good, then you don't deserve to be bailed out by the system when times are bad.
