Mark 8 April as Remembrance Day for victims of C19 and gratitude for NHS staff.
Designate 8th April as a Day of Remembrance for lives lost and appreciation of those who serve our health and well-being; potentially (at Parliament's discretion) authorising national ceremonies and empowering authorities at other levels to do similar.
April 8th 2020 (at this point) appears to have been the day of the greatest loss of life to C19 (putting together all the nations of the UK numbers, and those outside hospitals), potentially outstripping the worst single day loss of civilian life in the Blitz and the largest loss of life since the unmarked 1919 flu. I believe forgetting about 1919 partially contributed to a general sense of complacency about disease in the United Kingdom.
