Postpone ESFRS decision to go to public consultation with the IRMP 2020/25

Petition Details

We would like the Government to support the Key workers of East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and it community and postpone the Service Integrated Risk Management Plan 2020/25 until after the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Additional Information

Because it will give the community of East Sussex, Brighton & Hove as well as it own Firefighters the opportunity to fully understand the ramifications and gravity of the the changes that will effect each and every member of our community.

During these anxious and unprecedented times the Key worker and our community need and deserve the governments support.

The ramifications of these proposals can not be fully understood without proper discussion, this can’t happen during this pandemic.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a decision for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

If you would like the Government to suspend the requirement for integrated risk management planning from any fire service during the outbreak, you could start a petition calling for this to happen.
